The most delightful read in ages... (partly related with the main character being an immigrant?...). Actually it was like watching a beautiful movie right from the beginning, so powerful and evocative were the descriptions and so engaging the atmosphere in the book. Apparently some readers were not satisfied with the plot and were discussing the end of the book; well, why do we expect books (or movies) to offer us the pleasure of a happy ending? Perhaps because we don’t see that too often in real life. I wasn’t dissapointed in any way, I truly enjoyed the book from the first page to the last: great style!

I would also recommend „Mr. Rosenblum’s list” by the same author.

... and can’t wait for Mrs. Solomon’s next novel!
