Passion for the written word

I started writing long ago while looking for answers to my numerous, never ending questions about life, the others and myself. The passion for books came first and then the need to clarify ideas on paper followed natturally. The trouble is, the more you read and write, the greater is the realisation of your ignorance thus reading, sharing ideas and writing is an ongoing process. There are sometimes moments when you feel the need to stop and simply listen to your heart. You might find basic truths, beauty and calmness in a clear sky, in the murmur of the rain, in a child’s laughter or in a drop of water, but the passion for the written word, once born and bred in your life, will be there for ever.
